FOUNDERS

Our Founder & MXTZ’s Inventor Dr. James A. Warner was born on St. Thomas in the U.S. Virgin Islands. Dr. Warner is married to Jacinth Warner, and they have three children: Jalicha, James Jr. and Jaivon. Dr. Warner developed his passion for playing the trumpet at the age of nine and despite facing initial rejection from participation within the middle school band program, Dr. Warner remained determined and with perseverance and persistent became a highly respected and revered musician, educator, and leader. Pursuing his love for music, Dr. Warner majored in Music Education at Fayetteville State University (FSU) in Fayetteville, North Carolina, where he helped to develop and design Education and Music Technology Labs. After teaching for three years within the public school system, Dr. Warner received a fellowship to complete his master’s degree at Miami University in Ohio.

In 1996, Dr. Warner returned to FSU as a Professor, Fine Arts Coordinator, and graduate student at FSU, and UNCG where he continued to develop, design, and integrate innovative technology within classrooms, labs, and class curriculums to increase student engagement and collaboration. Dr. Warner strived to use innovative integration within instructional technology to improve and enhance the learning process because he believed that education with innovative technology enhanced and increased student engagement, collaboration, performance, productivity, and success. Within his Dissertation (2003-09), Dr. Warner used multiple iPAQs with a 2D-CRDI to assess student sensation, perception, and cognition of music elements when listening to music excerpts. Following this process within the research study and dissertation, Dr. Warner discovered and documented relationships among students’ attention to music elements and increases in academic achievements. This is where Dr. Warner discovered a need to develop and launch the MXTZ System within Education, Home, Communities, Government and Business environments.

Dr. Warner went to the Georgia Institute of Technology’s (GaTech) Minority Business Development Center and the Advanced Technical Development Center (ATDC) in 2010 to gain assistance with the invention and creation of the MXTZ System. However, Dr. Warner suffered some major and impactful life-changing medical injuries, accidents, and setbacks from 2010 to 2015. Dr. Warner remained determined and with perseverance, persistence, and miraculous recoveries, Dr. Warner returned to the Advanced Technical Development Center (ATDC) in 2016 to continue the invention and creation the MXTZ SMARTSTREAM System (Scientific Mechanical Automation for Research and Technology with Science, Technology, Research, Engineering, Arts, Athletics, Music, and Math curricula).

With the MXTZ Business Model becoming a reality, in 2018, Dr. Warner realized a significant need to elevate his business and education leadership acumen and knowledge and began the Master of Business Administration (MBA) and Doctorate in Education Leadership (EDL) programs at the University of North Georgia (UNG). This process increased Dr. Warner’s ability to manage, operate, and execute the enormous and extensive size, scope, scale, and magnitude of the MXTZ Enterprise and business model. Dr. Warner successfully completed the UNG MBA and EDL programs in 2020. This was during COVID-19 which was also the beginning of the current Global Education, Health, Climate, Technology, and Workforce Crises. These Crises created a significant need for the MXTZ SMARTSTREAM Hybrid System which Dr. Warner and The MXTZ Team believe is the Perfect Solution for overcoming the current Global Education, Health, Climate, Technology, and Workforce Crises.

In 2021, Dr. Warner and The MXTZ Team received a formal invitation to attend and participate within the UVI-RTPark, ATDC: 5G Connected Future Program, and MassChallenge Accelerators to establish, grow, and Launch The MXTZ SMARTSTREAM Hybrid System. In 2023, MXTZ and our nonprofit partner, The People’s Central Organization for Restoration and Education (PCORE Global) will partner with other organization to launch The MXTZ-PCORE SMARTSTREAM INTO THE FUTURE PILOT PROGRAM within the USVI and Georgia. MXTZ will successfully deploy and implement The MXTZ SMARTSTREAM Hybrid System within the Virgin Islands Department of Education (VIDE), the University of the Virgin Islands (UVI), GaTech, Historically Black Schools and Universities (HBCUs) along within other schools, school systems, universities, homes, and communities. Within the near future, MXTZ will expand into governments and businesses while seeking exponential growth across the Caribbean, US, and Globally.

Dr. Warner’s strong faith, resilience, and ability to overcome life-threatening challenges have shaped his Family, the MXTZ Team, and partners into formidable, committed, and resilient leadership roles. Dr. Warner is the Founder, Inventor, and CEO of MXTZ. Dr. Warner is also a leader and entrepreneur.
